Track 3:
Today's Job Market
Our nation’s recession has resulted in the
elimination of several jobs in all professions. In today’s job
market, the employed, unemployed, and underemployed are
competing for fewer jobs. Job applicants that have been selected
to fill key positions have been able to successfully sell their
skills and talents. In order to obtain meaningful employment in
a challenging job market, it is imperative that the applicant is
able to standout above the competing pool of qualified
candidates. This track will focus on how to effectively market
your professional attributes and highlight some of the common
mistakes made by individuals seeking to advance their careers.
This course is a blend of classroom lecture and exercises.
